Pat Yongpradit gets to live out his dream job. Teaching high school Computer Science at Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, he spends his days inspiring students to dream and create technology to improve our world.
Pat is a 2010 Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Educator, has spoken at multiple national conferences (ISTE, SIGCSE, CSTA, and NBC’s Education Nation), and has written and consulted on technology curricula at the local, state, and national level. Pat’s current projects include helping students create mobile games and apps for social causes and broadening participation in computer science among underrepresented groups.
In addition to teaching Computer Science, he is certified in Life Science, Physics, Math, Health, and Technology Education. His favorite quote is: “The man who finds a job he loves will never work a day in his life.” Who looks forward to Mondays? Pat does.
